"Close Up" Opening Reception
For the past few months, members have been exploring close-up and macro photography. Viewing subjects in such intimate proximity allows artists to shift the ordinary perspective, leaning into the abstract, unfamiliar, and unseen.
We will also be joined by guest artist Tim Mayo. Mayo is presenting his new series featuring experimental colorized street photography from the Tenderloin and 6th Street corridor.
Scanner Photography Workshop w/ Don Adams
Join us at the Knox SRO for a hands on demonstration on creating images with a flat bed scanner. We will be led by longterm member and friend Don Adams. Adams will be sharing his signature style and method of image making with a flatbed scanner.
