  • Gallery Director and Photo Instructor

    RenΓ©e has been a member of the Sixth Street Photography Workshop since 1995. She joined the project during a time when she was on the edge of homelessness. She is a self-taught photographer who also studied art therapy at San Francisco State University. She teaches the beginning photography class as well as instructs in advanced photography, studio lighting, portraiture and gallery show preparation.

  • Technical Director and Photo/Editing Instructor

    Kerim received degrees in Visual Media Design and Photography at City College of San Francisco, from where he took an internship class and found himself at 6th on 7th Photography Workshop.

    While freelancing in the fields of commercial, architectural, and food photography, as well as image contributor to local news outlets, Kerim assisted 6th on 7th since 2020 as a digital assistant and instructor. Hired as Technical Director in 2021, Kerim has worked to promote and expand the photo education program and work with veterans and participants on gallery projects.
